Amazon Web Services (AWS), is a collection of remote computing services, also called web services, that make up a cloud-computing platform offered by Amazon.com. These services operate from 11 geographical regionsacross the world. The most central and well-known of these services arguably include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, also known as "EC2", and Amazon Simple Storage Service, also known as "S3". Amazon markets AWS as a service to provide large computing capacity more quickly and more cheaply than a client company building an actual physical server farm.
The Europe Export Development Team has some big goals ahead. It will support the launch of a full second language experience for the Amazon platform by enhancing the current multi-language experience and introducing multi-language on additional websites. This will be achieved by making high impact changes to some of Amazon’s critical systems such as search and systems dealing with our item data. In addition, the team will drive several other enhancements to the experience of export customers focusing on export restricted products and products with additional fees and levies. We plan to build out a team located in Bangalore. The team will work closely with a large group of development teams across Amazon, mainly located in the US and India.
